Pix is an online pixel art community where everyone can unleash their creativity on a 16x16 canvas. Browse, create, and share your artworks with the rest of the world for fun or participate in our monthly challenges to earn exclusive badges and get a chance to enter the Hall of Fame.

This was a little 2 week vacation-during-covid project with my boyfriend. I designed the branding and screens for the whole app while my boyfriend developped everything.

Overview

This project was created in collaboration with Maxime Nory. We had one vague idea in mind: to conceive something for people to create with, it could be a blank canvas, a game,anything. After a bit of discussion, we finally came to a concept: a pixel art Instragram inspired app. Pix is a social network AND a pixel art editor. You can create anything you want within a 16x16 pixels canvas, participate into monthly challenges and discover art from other users.
